I don't know if this the right place to air this but I am feeling desparate.
I bought my AR21M laptop on the 17th December 2006 on the basis that I would be entitled to a free upgrade to Vista. In January I repeatedly tried to get onto the relevant site without success. Eventually I had two e-mails from the organising company saying due to the immense response etc. there would be a delay but I would be contacted as soon as possible.
I left it at that since there was no urgency as far as I was concerned.
Then about 6 weeks ago I looked at the Sony site only to learn that the upgrade offer had closed. I phoned Sony technical support who said they would send my name and address
to the organising company and I would hear from them shortly. NOTHING!!!
What can I do? Anyone else in this predicament or am I a lone sufferer?
Hi robbertybob,
welcome to Club Vaio..
Unfortunately I doubt you will be able to claim the Vista express upgrade disc's now as you did not make a successful claim within the allotted period.
You could try posting your details in this thread or try contacting Vaio-Support but as I said I doubt there much chance in obtaining a set of disc's..
