I've had this pc for just under a year (crucial if faulty!!)
I haven't had need of the TV Tuner up until now, as I've always had a PVR with a VCR as a backup for emergencies.
My VCR has just died, and since I'm not about to splash out on another of those ancient things , I thought I'd hook my VAIO up, just in case my PVR goes on the blink.
I already have my PC hooked up to the TV with TV out function, but I can't connect the TV Tuner.
I had to reinstall VAIO Zone from the recovery DVD, but it just says no channels found every time it scans. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the TV Tuner in hardware, and it's reported as being working.
I first tried connecting my cable box to the TV Tuner, and when that didn't get anywhere, I thought it might be a problem with my wiring, so I tried putting the outside ariel directly into the tuner - I know that would only give me the terrestrial channels, but I thought that would at least confirm the tuner was ok - still reporting 'no channels found' though!
Sorry for the long post - any suggestions??
