TV Tuner Not Found VGN-AR21M

Hi

My new laptop no longer recognises the in-built TV tuner. When I start the Media Center and click on Live TV it just freezes and eventually crashes.

I phoned Sony's UK support and their only suggestion was to re-install XP from scratch. Great I could have come up with that one myself.

Any suggestions and help would be appreciated.

check out this thread. On the first post look at section B and follow the list of instructions and your TV tuner will work fine. Had the same problem and worked fine for me. hope this helps
