SONY VGN-C2Z max. 2GB RAM MEMORY - INCREASING TO 4GB

Hi guys,

i have a VAIO Notebook VGN-C2Z. According to the Sony website this notebook has a max of 2GB RAM Memory.

The website of Intel http://www.intel.com/products/chipsets/945pm/index.htm says this chipset Mobile Intel® 945 PM Express supports up to 4GB.

Can someone tell me if it's possible to increase the memory to 4GB (2x 2GB) in my notebook ?

Hi Dalma,

In theory, you can upgrade your Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5500 with any processor that uses the 479 pin mobile socket but I doubt if you will notice a significant increase in processing power and may cause an overheating problem.
