Sony Vaio VPC F13S8E/B.GC2 Wont boot

When I Turn on the laptop the vaio logo appears but doesnt continue booting the OS,I keep turning it off and on many times till it works and when it finally boots after sony logo it says : " Loading Default Intel Image " sth like that.What should I do to troubleshoot this problem.

Hi shrimp12,

" Loading Default Intel Image " means nothing to me but it could be a corrupt driver (system or Intel) that is causing the problem.

Can you try booting in safe mode? To do this tap F8 when you see the Vaio logo and select Safe Mode.

If this works then you could try reinstalling the Intel chipset driver using  Vaio Recovery Center program. If not then I would try a system repair using a Windows 7 Recovery Disc. This will need to be downloaded and burned to CD – We can provided more details if necessary.
