Sony Vaio VGN-FZ21M Windows XP drivers

Hi all,

Anyone know where I can get some motherboard drivers for the Sony Viao VGN-FZ21M (PCG-391M) for Windows XP?

My sister had Linux installed but now needs to go back to XP for work software, but XP won't detect the hard driver from the standard boot, so I need to add 3rd party drivers. Can't find any anywhere on the web - can someone help? Pretty please.....

Hi Nick,

The VGN-FZ21M has a SATA hard drive and not all versions of XP support this. The drivers will either need to be installed during the OS setup using a floppy drive or slipstreamed onto the install disk.

Once XP is installed you will have great difficulty getting all of the notebook functions, such as FN key, to work as this model is not supported for XP.
