Sony USB Infrared Reciever Problems?

Having not used my laptop as my main dvd player for a while, I decided to give it a whiz. I loaded up Vaio Zone, put fresh batteries in but I cannot control Vaio Zone using the remote only the keyboard.

Could anyone please help me resolve this problems

Hi JLG,

Have you got a directory C:\Program Files\Sony\VAIO Zone Remote Commander ?

If you have try running AvRmtCtr.exe -if you are going to use it a lot, then put this in your startup programs.

If you don't have this directory, you may have to look on your Recovery Media or look in the downloadable Utilities.
