"Vista" BIOS update for SZ1

On the website (as below) I found a BIOS update for the SZ1, billed as a Vista BIOS. There's not documentation to go with it that would tell us what exactly it does. Being ever so optimistic and happy to experiment, I installed it anyway, and it works fine. I AM interested in what's it done though, so does anyone know? Also, can I simply install the old previous version for XP, should I ever want to go back?

Unfortunately Sony is never too communicative about BIOS updates, so I have no idea what changes this has made. However as the Bios upgrade should be backwardly compatible there ought to be no problems if you decide to revert to XP in the future.

Hmmm alright, so in that case I just rejoice that it works well. Oh yeah, and have I expressed my joy at having received the finger print sensor software yet? Slowly, one by one, it's all coming together with SZ1 and Vista!
