Problems with screen resolution

Hi guys.

This might be a silly question, but whenever I play any game and the resolution is set to lower than 1280x800, I keep on seeing the game in the resolution chose, and then just black borders around.. like, if I play a game in 800x600, i get the rectangle in the middle with the image, and then the rest is all black.. I tried stretching via the keyboard, but I hear a clicking sound, the screen sometimes blinks, and then nothing, it stays the same..

Any idea on how to change this?.. please don't say use higher resolutions on the games.. :smileyblush:

Not really much you can do.

It's like watching 4:3 programs on a 16:9 widescreen TV, there's going to be obvious borders, unless you like the picture stretched
