Hello all.
My VGN-FS415E had this problem where the AC adapter can not start the laptop, but can charge the battery. (Ligght indicates it's charging it; if I take the battery off, laptop is powered by tha AC adapter plugged in the mains socket)
Until last Friday I could use the battery to start it up but now, I press the power button on, the three green lights turn on, the turned on green light, the yellow battery light and the orange hard disc lights on the fascia turn on but there is no starting up sound, and the screen remains black. I have checked holding the power button on for more than 4 seconds to see if battery light turns off, but it is still on for about an hour now without ever the laptop starting up.
I have not manage to start it up since last Friday...
