Hi,
I wanted to restore my first hard drive but it doesn't work
I've restore the second part with the system of gestion.
But now after back up all my files on my new (second hard drive) I want to restore the first in NTFS for all part. I put the CD restore and I restarted the computer . The problem is that the CD rom is not reconized and I can't do anything
I have an other solution but it's risky
Format the hard drive in the post of work
I don't want a solution like that because I have no back up to make it good.
If you have a solution please help me :smileyrolling_eyes:
Thank you for reply
Use something like Norton Ghost, so you won't loose a thing.
Thank you Kee-Lo  you have all answers for all questions
I'll search for this in google in order to know what it is and where I can find it
I found a temporary solution which could be surely used for others.
If you want to convert your hard drive in NTFS
It is necessary to go in the start menu /executer and to type in the register key:
convert x:/FS:NTFS
N.B:You can't convert NTFS in FAT only FAT in NTFS
P.S:smileygrin:on't pay attention to mistakes
Hi Cutee-Jazz,
Thanks for that tip that's great.
By the way, the UK edition of Windows XP "executer", is "Run".
As I haven't seen Windows XP in French I don't know all the terms.
Yes I made a mistake
I should perform in english language
Hehe no problems.
