Playing DVD's

I've just bought the XL201 Media Center tried playing DVD's on the machine but it wont let me.

I was told by someone who read somewhere that this is something Microsoft have done some protection for digital connection to screens.

Has anyone got a solution to this problem.

What screen are you trying to play the DVDs on and how is your XL-201 connected to it?

you must be connected to your tv or monitor via a HDMI connection and it has to be compliant. It is to do with copyright protection - its a silly idea.
