NVIDIA Go 7400 installation ?? SZ4MN/B

hello

i have a SZ4MN/B laptop, it has windows vista ,

i downloaded the new vidoe driver the nvidia driver from the vaio support website , but when i run that file it says this nvidia driver is not for your hardware.

and at the moment my GPU is using hte intel's driver.


can anyone kindly help how i can sort this out ...


i am surprised that after downloadign it from the vaio's own support site and provided by the sony ..its behaving this way .

Which driver did you download?

Was it Video Driver Version 7.15.10.9754 from SZ4MN/B Downloads?

Are you trying to install it with the Vaio switched to 'Speed' mode?

yes exactly i downloaded that video driver file that you mentioned.

and i was trying to install it on the stamina mode ..

hey ..
now this is surprising ...
after i switched my vaio to speed mode ..
the device manager recoginised the nvidia go 7400 on its own
and then i ran that file i downloaded , it installed a driver .


now i am wondering if this new nvida driver will raise the temprature of my system ...
