Non Playback of back up DVD+r's on DW U50A 1.5g
Help, i've been backing up my DVD's using DVD Shrink and AnyDVD on my Sony PCG GRT 815e . Once burnt they play on everybody else's dvd players but not on my laptop which created them.
Any idea's!!

So they play fine on everyone else's DVDs?
Maybe the disks cannot be read due to the qualirt of the disk?

The disks are made by Infiniti, I should have added these dvd+r's have played in the past on my Vaio. I have recently installed SP2 and the most recent updates for Dvdshrink and Anydvd.

Have you checked for a firmware update?
How about ASPI layers?

I've got the latest firmware update I haven't got a clue what ASPI layers are !!!!!! could you enlighten me please?

No it's a software layer which controlls the drive.
As DT says, copying DVD which you DO NOT own the copyright to is illegal and can lead to prosecution.
