Hi to All,
Vaio PCG-K215B
after recently (yesterday) taking my laptop apart to remove dust from the around the processor (the fan sounded like a 747 before, and th CPU was running near 80c, the computer now runs silently once again) i noticed (what i believe to be) a memory port on the top side of the motherboard, just to the right of the lower USB ports and above the PCMCIA port, the port has AMP printed on it. Does anyone know what this port is actually for? If its what i believe it is, what spec of RAM does it accept? any enlightenment on the topic of this port would be gratefully received.
Merry christmas to everyone.
Jack
Hi Jack,
I have a feeling that what you describe is the connection for the wireless LAN card on other models in this series.
Can you write in normal size in the future please
