Mcafee

Hello to everyone. I'm having trouble with trying to load Kaspersky internet security to replace the Mcafee. As far as I know I have deleted Mcafee, but it keeps telling me that I've still got it. I've looked in c-drive and gone through the files (although some I don't recognise) and can't find it anywhere. Has anybody any ideas> I must be truthful and say I'm not that computer literate.
