Max Memory for FS215Z

I wonder what happens if i install 2 gb of ram instead of 1 gb (sony says max memory s 1 gb). My FS215Z's mtherboard and HDD are replced due to a failure but it is even slower that it was before replacements. What if i change the ram? any suggestions?

The maximum Ram for your FS215Z is 1GB, I wouldn't advise going above that..
