MATSHITA UJ-841S DVD RAM drive - how to make it region free

I am very disappointed that my DVD ram is not region free. Buying a laptop I expected to be able to play DVDs from any region, unlimited. I am now stuck in Region 1. I want to find a way of making the drive region free. Anyone got any ideas?

not possible.hardwired ,so only u can use software solutions.i think.....

thanks for reply - is there a drive out there that I can replace the Matshita with that will give me region-free DVD capability?
