Low Battery Warning Message?

Anyone know a way you can have a Low Battery Warning MESSAGE come up when it gets to that point?

Several times now my machine has just shut down (hibernated) when the battery has run low and I've lost all my unsaved work on return - really annoying!!!

I probably should have been paying attention to the power indicator light or the icon on the task bar but this isn't enough(if you're concentrating on something else!) I NEED MORE WARNING! (I also need more than a sound alarm as I often have to work in places where I need to turn the sound off).

I'm using a VAIO VGN-SZ61WN/C

do you not get a 10% warning message (see image below)..

Have you tried using one of the many Vista sidebar battery gadgets, I've not used any so unfortunately I can't say how accurate they are..
