lost FN+F(Number) shortcuts

hi guys, i wiped my Sony Vaio VGN-N31S/W, downgraded to XP Home from Vista, its running great, however i have lost the FN+F1,2,3,4,5,6,7, etc etc, keys for example FN+F2 to Mute Sound..............how can i get this function back? I REALLY LOVED THIS FUNCTION PLEASE HELP

Time to install the N11S Utilities. Extract the files from N1_Utilities.ZIP and run the Setup.EXE in each installer folder.

You must install the Sony Utilities - Instaler 1 first - then the Sony Shared Library second - then all the others. It is the VAIO Event service that you need to get the Fn keys working.
