We have a Sony Vaio S13V9E/B laptop running Windows 7 Pro 64bit and Sony docking station. Recently we have had an issue with the laptop booting on a morning. The laptop boots normally up until a black screen with a blue circle and then hangs. I can still move the mouse and the laptop appears to be doing something but even after 20 mins its still the same.
If i boot into safe mode then it works fine, but then if i restart into normal mode it hangs. The only way to correct the issue is to remove it from the docking station before turning it on and then docking it afterwards. It doesnt happen every time either and seems to be random.
I have checked the laptop has the latest BIOS and standard Windows updates so im not sure what else to do???
