Keys Fn+F1-12 don't work

Hi everyone,

I just got a Vaio FS515E and I'm incredibly happy with it!

One thing is weird though: The Fn-key doesn't seem to work which means that I can't access the brightness, speaker volume, or even sleep mode on my keypad. Does anyone have an idea what that could be? All the region-options are set correctly.

Hi Oliver and welcome to Club Vaio.

You need to reinstall some of the Sony Utilities.

If you have a directory C:\Utils then double-click on Utils.exe to run the installer.

If you don't have this directory, download the Preinstalled Sony Utilities from VAIO-LINK, unpack the download to a temporary folder and install

1 Sony Utilities (installer folder 1)
2 Sony Shared Library (installer folder 2)
3 Vaio Event Service (installer folder ?)

And then re-boot your Vaio - you may have to repeat the process!
