Hi everyone!
Just got my VAIO notebook yesterday and so far, I'm pleased with what I see. Except for one thing -
I bought my notebook in Spain so it comes with a Spanish keyboard. However, the characters printed on the keys and the ones coming on the screen are not the same .. e.g. if I press the dash&underscore key, I get a ? (question mark)
I had a Dell before that I purchased in the UK, and the keys seem to be following THAT orientation and not the Spanish one.
Anyone know how I can fix it?
Cheers

Hi ashwyn and welcome to the forum.
You need to adjust the Keyboard Settings.
Go to Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Languages > Details. Click on keyboard > Add. Check the keyboard layout box and select the country of your choice. Click OK and then, under Settings > Default Input Language select that language from the drop down menu and click OK. Restart your computer and the keys should be as you want them.
Umm.. I just figured it out! Control Panel - Regional Settings!
Thanks Rich, that was quick Got it!
You're welcome ashwyn, seems that you figured it out on your own though
