Hi Guys
After much searching of the web, I discovered that a blast of compressed air into the cooling fan stops this type of noise. A puff of dust blow out, so it’s safe to say it was the imbalance in the fan that changed the tone and gave me that whistle.
Hope this help somebody else with the same fault
