got a hdmi cable and my first blu ray dvd now want to watch it through my televsion but just can't seem to make it work any help please???? xxxx

well at first of all u should connect ur notebook with ur tv 
after u did so, there should pop up a little window that gives u further instructions like in which way u want to enable your view. u can chose between cloning, single view and so on. if u want to play a bd from ur laptop and watch it on the tv, use the single view mode, so that the entire notebook lcd is disabled.
if u dont get such a automatic popup just go to ur nvidia control panel and set it up manualy, another possibility is the mobile center
