Bit of a thicko question but my vaio laptop has two hard drives, C & D. C is filling up rapidly. If it gets full, will stuff automatically start saving in the D drive? Any advice would be helpful.
Cheers
Hi Netteswell,
Welcome to Club Vaio,
Once you C drive is full the files DO NOT simply move onto the D drive, you have to physically move files from your C to the D drive..
You can move your My Documents folder to the D drive, here is a guide on How to Change the Default Location
I think you only got 1 hard disk drive but two partitions C: & 😧 and yes you need to do it physically to transfer files from partition c to d..
