I don't know what is happpening with the sound and video of my Sony Vaio VGN-FS315M, as it plays always with scraches and starts slower speed, occasioanlly it stops and than plays normally after it makes the same if I open any other programm or file. Doesn't matter what kind of file I play or by which player. It started as I installed the sound driver. I have done everything , reinstalled driver for million times, but it still doesn't work properly. I even went to Sony centre in my city , I live in Tbilisi, Georgia, and even they didn't understand what is happening.
If anybody may have any idea why it is happening, I will be very thankful for the support.

Hi Nadrik,
It could be several things. Does it do this with media from your Hard Disc, CD/DVD Drive or both? Check that "Direct Memory Access" is enabled on all drives.
Start -> Right-Click My Computer -> Properties -> Hardware -> Device Manager
Expand IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers.
Double-click on Primary IDE Channel -> Advanced Settings.
Make sure ALL devices have "DMA if Available" selected and check that the Current Transfer Mode is "Ultra DMA Mode 4/5/6".
If any device is set to PIO mode then this is your problem.
Go Back and highlight Primary IDE Channel and right-click on it.
Select Uninstall and OK. You must uninstall - disabling is not enough.
Reboot your Vaio to reload the drivers and reset DMA.
If you have a secondary IDE Channel in Device Manager - do the same for that.
