fs215 wont switch on

can anybody help me turn my laptop on!shut it down lastnight but it wont turn on now
power supply is ok,tried it without the battery just using the docking base on mains supply but still no lights on
any ideas

Hi mojo2001,

This is a difficult problem to address, but I would try reseating the memory modules. If that has to effect then (assuming that you have two modules) try one singly in each slot in all possible permutations.

Try it without the docking base... just the laptop and nothing else.

If that doesn't work there's something about holding down the power button for 30 seconds but I can't remember exactly what. Someone else might know.
