I bought this laptop in Feb 2010 when it came out. It has been fine so far but last month - in Sep 2011, it started overheating and the fan has started making a LOT of noise, the back of the laptop gets very hot. The battery stays cool.
I have updated the BIOS but that has not made any difference. Even browsing 1 webpage causes this.
The laptop is out of warranty so sony is not that interested. Can someone please help.
