DVI to VGA

Hi, haven't been here for a while... I got a hdtv ready tv, and i wanna hook it up to my laptop. the thing is on my laptop I only have a vga- no dvi port. If I buy a vga to dvi converter will I be able to run video onto my tv in HD or will it just be reduced to normal vga standard? thanks

Hi unfortunatley you cant get more from less, you will have to set your graphics card to the resolution of your screen for it to be able to display correctly anyway.

Still your in luck if you live in a Telewest/NTL area, new HDTV/PVR boxes are coming very soon :smileygrin:
