Hi, I have a problem:
I have purchased 3 wrappings from 10 disks Verbatim DVD-RW 4x certified 4,7 GB/120 min SERL DVD-RW RW2 (reorder 43552).
I have tried to insert the disks in the DVD recorder of my desktop SONY VAIO PCV-RS302 but
the DVD recorder doesn't see them, because the computer asks me to insert a disk.
The installed model of DVD recorder in my computer is PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-106D 1.00
Can you help me?
Thanks
Giorgio

Hi Giorgio and welcome to the foum.
Have you installed the firmware update for your optical drive from Vaio-Link ?
Tanks for your answer.
In “http://www.vaio-link.com/downloads” I have seen that from “Available downloads for the PCV-RS302” there is “ Firmware Update for Pioneer DVR-106DVA but my optical drive is 106D and not 106DVA.
Can I downloads that firmware for recorder on Verbatim DVD-RW 4x or I'll can crash recorder?
Thanks
Excuse me, but my english is terrible.
P.S. Can you speak Italian?
Consiglio contro fare l'aggiornamento poichè è un azionamento differente.
Sperare che questo funzioni, esso sia una traduzione di Google
Can you repeat please your answer in english?
Your translate with google is not clear.
Do you think that the download that I have seen in web in “http://www.vaio-link.com/downloads” from “Available downloads for the PCV-RS302” is the right Firmware Update for my Pioneer DVR-106D (my optical drive is 106D and not 106DVA)?
Thanks.
LOL trust Google
I would advise against using the firmware as it's for a different drive.
