DSD SACD playback

Hi all,
This is my first post here.
I got my XL301 on Saturday.
Looks nice.
I bought a new soundcard and took out one of the tuners. An RME HDSP 9632. It has a really good clock in it called steadclock and is < 800ps. It reclocks the incoming signal as well. It has turned the machine into a true audiofile player.
I have gone all electronic and now don't use my SACD player any more, and just play the XL through the my Sony Processor.
On the Sony web site it says that the XL-301 supports DSD.
I have tried to play an SACD but, the disk is not recognised.
Anyone know about this.
regards,
James

Hi,
very fickle?
Are you saying that the XL-301 supports SACD.
That is to say can it actually play an disk?
Does it come out of the SPDIF?
If so in what format?
Have you managed to play one?
System restore, hum. It took me long enough to get the new RME drivers working in Vista without getting the BSOD.
How is the DSD implemented in the XL-301?
Is there any more info available.
Do you have to use a certain application?
regards,
James

If anyone wants to know, the XL-301 does not play SACD.
If anyone from Sony is reading this, can you please enable this feature if at all possible.

James
