Disk drive

Hi from Austria,
i have a little problem with my DVD disk drive. I put a DVD in the disk drive, but the DVD drive can not read the DVD. Also i have checked the driver, the driver is the new version. Any idea?

What kind of DVD is it? A writeable one or a 3rd party one (eg. film)?
