Disable raid configuration display

HI,

I have just recently replaced HDD with SSD on my SVT1311 laptop and now everytime I boot I am greeted with Press Ctrl I for RAID configuration .
Is there a way to disable this screen as it takes approx ~3 sec on that screen increasing the boot time.

Hi Rohan_b and welcome.

Have you tried pressing Ctrl+I during boot to enter the BIOS RAID configuration and  Disable/Delete the RAID configuration?

Hi Blencogo,

Thanks for the reply.
I havent tried that option but if I do delete disable RAID that would actually disable RAID configuration, my concern here is to have RAID  configured but not to display the utility screen everytime I boot.

Sorry - I misunderstood.  Did your model have a Hybrid HDD/SSD drive? Or does it have room for 2 identical SSDs?

If you now just have a single SSD, I don't think you can run RAID.

It used to have hybrid HDD/SSD drive. I have replaced the HDD with another SSD so it is now SSD/SSD config.

So I assume I should be able to run RAID

As I understand the hybrid drive is a single drive that incorporates both HDD for storage and SSD as cache. So when replaced by an SSD you have one single SSD drive not SSD/SSD.
