Hope this is ok to be in here?
Anyway i'll copy and paste from the other thread:
I don't know why it does it, but when i'm typing, the cursor, every once in a while jumps to another part of the text i have already written so if you don't notice, you carry on typing and it messes it all up. At first i though it was because i was pressing a key inadvertantly but after trying to figure out what i was doing i realised it is just a random thing. (It just did it whilst i was writing that sentence actually).
Anyone else have this problem or know why it does this? or how i could stop it?
Thanks

Some found a solution but others not it would appear. You might find something that works.
Which mouse are you using? I have a computer with a cheap ball mouse on it and the cursor seems to move around randomly :S

Maybe the wireless thing is the issue? Anything interferring maybe? Latest drivers? Lemme know if it all works out
There was a bit about it here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;198062
but it didn't seem to make a difference.
It seems to mostly happen when pressing 'y' or 'o' and when i'm typing fast which might just mean there's something wrong with the keyboard itself. someone said somewhere it being to do with too much pressure around the keyboard or something.
I seem to have fixed it. I'm not sure how i did it but randomly the options for the touchpad opened one day without me doing anything and so i clicked a few things and i've had no problems since. I looked everywhere for settings for the touchpad and they just weren't there, but then they just opened themselves and they were actually there. Kinda spooky. But at least it's fixed now
