Okey firstoff ... im very disapointed in Sony of their decision to make their laptop software dumb-user compactible. I would recomend make 2 versions of VAIO Recory Utility, Advanced version and simpel version so more educated users could install ONLY WINDOWS or smthng cuz i'm very specific how and where and what is installed on my system and how my hdd is partitioned.
Anyway. As i browsed through net(and this forum) i found couple of posts that described the same problem. I made a lot of changes to WinXP MCE installation but i need some help (from more advanced users or from Sony himself).
1. I have Windows MCE 2005 2cds and i made a copy of them on my hard drive
2. i wanted the whole thing to be my laptop specific and on 1 DVD (not 2 cds) so i changed the txtsetup.sif to locate the media center components from the same dvd.

3. i dont have usb-disk device so i tryed to add "iastor.sys" to my mce installation so i made this changes to txtsetup.sif

4. i made a winnt.sif that had all my configuration and user data (serial and localization)
5. i copied the boot image from my original mce cd
6. i edited the winnt.sif and added 2 params one was ignore those policies and the other param was OemPNP drivers or smthng like that
7. i made some addon directories in my i386 directory C:\XPINSTALL\$oem$\$1\drivers\ and copied AHCI drivers to there with INF files and everything.
so to sum up.
i changed txtsetup to add my sata and to locate mce components
i made winnt.sif to automate my installation and to add sata OEMPNP drivers
i extracted the original boot info from my original MCE cd
i burned the whole thing thiw utlraiso (with boot)
EVERY THING WORKED FINE
NO ERRORS WHAT SO EVER! -> but
when the installation completes and the computer starts for the first time in blinks a blue screen for one second (less) and restarts. and this happens each time =).
i deleted the components from dvd and winnt and left only sata added to txtsetup but still after installation blue screen and restart.
so why im having this problem?
what else i have to change or what drivers i have to add to xp installation or was something wrong with my addition.
the error code should be 0x0000007b which is indicates that problem is with sata drivers
