HI,i have downloaded the drivers for my graphics card,and have tryed to install this but without any success. I have checked device manager,where display adapter should be showing.And nothing is showing for device adapter (ie),no item for display adapter,is in the list.The reason that this has come about was windows crashed,and when i done a partial repair and rebooted,the screen image was only 2/3rds,with a black border all the way round the screen.I tryed to ajust the settings for the display,but in setting the highest setting i could adjust to is 1024 by 768,and the colour is 32bit.I do not have any recovery disk,and going to programmes to see if i could do a recovery,by Vaio was not listed,and useing windows to restore to an earlier time will not work.I am getting rather frusted at this,so if any one can help,it would be greatfully appreciated.
