Can I use my VAIO SZ Docking Station (VGP-PRSZ1) with any other models?

Hi,

I have had a VAIO SZ3XWP with a docking station (VGP-PRSZ1) for 4 years now and I am considering upgrading.

The dock for the SZ visually seems very similar to the docks for the S series (VGP-PRS10) and Z series (VGP-PRZ10), so I was wondering whether any of the current breed of VAIO laptops will work in my £180 SZ dock or if it had to be consigned to the bin or ebay ... in which case I may as well look at different brands of laptop!

The chassis on the newer VAIOs (S + Z) have diff proportions to your SZ, they're a bit wider, bit shallower.  Its difficult to make a generic dock.  Ebay is a good shout though.  It'll sell well
