Build up RAID for AR11m

Hello,

i have bought a second hdd for my ar11m. The objective was to build up a RAID but it does not work. There are no options in my BIOS to configurate a RAID. Please help me, soon!

have a flick through of your laptop's user manual. it should be stored on your c drive in the path c:\documentation\documentation\EN. Or you can download it from vaio link. It has some thing about RAID configurations and stuff in there which may help you

sorry i meant one of the manuals that came in the box of your AR11M should have some RAID info in it

there are informations regarding notebooks which are delivered with 2hdd (AR11S)! But I have got an AR11M and there is just 1hdd in.

Assuming that it works in a similar way. Heres how I did my AR21S:-

On startup, press F2 to go into the BIOS.
Choose the Advanced tab then select "Show Raid"
Exit BIOS and save changes.

Reboot your computer and you should get a new option on startup which says "Press CTRL &I for Raid Configuration"
Press CTRL & I and you will get into your raid config screen.

Here you can set up your raid config.
