I started a thread ages ago asking if other people had noticed metallic marks appearing on the shiny battery cover on the back of the player, Some replied saying they had put their similar probs down to a reaction to sweat & acids due to skin contact., I settled for this, as an explanation, but recently noticed that the marks had grown a little, & was worried that battery leakage may have been to blame,, So i removed the battery compartment & rolled the battery around to find no leakage probs whatsoever,,:smileyhappy: Oh THE JOY!! After id finished dancing around the room with happiness as i put the player back together i noticed the Main unit of the player inside to be made by ......TOSHIBA!! Now there is an electronics company that have always served me well!! TOSHIBA items owned,,,,,,,,,.......... TOSHIBA LARGE SCREEN HOME CINEMA TV
TOSHIBA VCR
TOSHIBA DVD PLAYER.....:smileylaugh: ..
You want to thank your lucky stars mate. What if you'd looked inside it and it said Fisher Price or Tomy? You'd have to beat yourself with a big stick.
