Battery shows 1% but lasts for ages? Battery Calibration?

Hey,

Wondering if anyone can help me here, I am having a problem with my battery when I unplugged it, it lasts for around 30 minutes then windows shows the battery as 1%... However it lasts much longer before it actually turns off Im guessing it shouldnt be showing 1% and needs a battery recalibration... I tried doing a battery recalibration fully charge the battery in windows then let the battery run out of juice... But its still having this problem.

I let the battery run out of power then boot it up with the power plug in but then it shows it at 48% battery! That was just when it was plugged in for 1 minute from it being empty.

Can anyone help me please?

Are you able to borrow another battery, if so this could identify if it is a battery or Vaio problem, other than that I'm afraid I little else to offer..

You could contactVaio-Link for official support, they may be able to offer a solution...
