BATTERY PROBLEM!!! HELPP SOMEONE PLEASE!!!

Hi,

I have a Vaio Laptop AR series. Its VGN-AR11M. I have the battery in and properly pushed in. And the computer realises its in and says its charging BUT if i click on the battery properties it has an X over the battery as well as the charging sign. If i take the laptop out of its charger it turns off straight away. I don't know what to do!!!
HELP!

A simple way to check if this is a battery or possible hardware problem is to take your Vaio to a local stockist and ask if you can try another AR's battery in your Vaio..
