I rebooted my computer (VGN-A115B) several months ago. I have been able to download updates so far, but when I try XP SP2 it freezes during 'Checking Product Key'. I have tried nearly 20 times from both the automatic update and microsoft website. Every time the same thing happens and I have to use CtrlAltDel to close it.
I still have the original windows that was preinstalled on my computer when i bought it appox 4 years ago. Microsoft say it's a sony problem, and the esupport page always says its temporarily unavailable.
