All,
I'd like to add a new hard disk to my PCV-RS402, but I've been warned not all hard disk would work with it. I've been told there would be a maximum size for channel, and other possible problems.
Which type of hard disk would fit, a S-ATA an IDE or EIDE ?
Would a MAXTOR 3' 1/2 400MB work on the HD channel ?
Can someone clarify me ?
Thanks a lot.

You're best getting an EIDE one.
The BIOS should be OK with a 150GB + drive.
hi
kee-lo is right the rs series has eide drives
by the way ide is the same as eide
i have a rs224 and it cam with a western digital 120gb 7200rpm ect
yours proberly has the same drive so going with werstern digital will be a safe bet, i did and they work fine
kind regards ben
WD and Maxtor are my favourites.
My Maxtor has just crashed...I was told by data recovery people not to buy a Maxtor. Their preference was Seagate. I have bought a Western Digital to go with the other WD I have installed.
