Vaio SVT1311W1ES Win7-64 BIt USB not always detetect when device is plugged in

Hello,

I have a problem with a brand new Sony SVT1311W1ES notebook.

This is a new PC so there is almost no change that is is infected by a Virus.

When connecting a USB stick to the USB ports (both ports USB 2.0 and 3.0) most of the times there is no reaction, the laptop is not detecting the usb stick .

Sometimes after waiting for 5 minutes suddenly it wil see the stick and can be used.

Sometimes it is needed to restart the laptop and this is not 100% sure that it will detect the usb stick when connecting. Have tried this with serveral sticks.

Any suggestions are welcome

Sorry voor het misverstand. Ik dacht dat ik op het Nederlandstalig forum was maar plots merkte ik op dat de menustructuur in het engels was vandaar dat ik dacht dat het op de een of andere manier van land was gewijzigd.
