I recently purchased a MHC V73D stereo system and before I did so, I asked Sony customer service for the length of its cable and if it has a track programming facility? A lady called Basma assured me it had this faclility and she later sent me an email to confirm the length of cable. But when it arrived, I found it didn't have a programming facility and it also didn't have a shuffle faclility. It only has a disc and track repeat facility. Since then, they have claimed it has a shuffle facility and tried saying the question I asked was if it had this facility? But this is of secondary importance because I was mainly interested in knowing if it has a programming facility? They also said I can't make a complaint without a VAT receipt. But as I have repeatedly made clear to them, it was purchased from an eBay seller who is not running a business. But I sent them a photo of my transaction with him and it contains most of the details they asked for such as cost and date of purchase.
