USB Slide show on NX713 TV

I cannot get the auto start slide show to work when I plug in a USB stick with jpeg files

I have checked the general setting for usb autostart is set for slideshow. I also plug in the usb after the tv is already on

The USB stick is recognised and the pictures can be seen and viewed individually via the home menu picture selections, but slide show does not appear to either auto start or be available at all

Am I missing someting basic or is there an issue or a faault

Hi I have been playing with a 8GB USB stick that arrived yesterday, I have highlighted an issue with out product quality department because the TV will not auto load slide show unless the camera folder structure is present, I am not sure if this is a fault or is meant to be this way and relies on folders rather than files, a bit like the AVCHD structure, however the instructions are not clear, so I have requested some clarity.

So in order to have the Auto Slideshow work you need to have the following folder structure;

Root/DCIM/100MSDCF/files.JPEG

Hello.  To use the slideshow, bring up the XMB and move to the "photo" option.  Select USB and press the "OPTIONS" button on your remote.  This should give you a slideshow option.

As for the auto, I couldn't get this to work either, sorry.

I hope this is useful.

Thanks. This at least gets the slideshow manually. Maybe Sony need a software update to make it work on auto
