Update kdl-40ex700??

Hello! Anyone knows how to update kdl-40ex700 i have the file but it wont start from usb when i connect it to my tv. the file name is.sony_tvupdate_2010_0486_aal_(1). Thankx/ Tony

Have you followed the instructions precisely? Most common cause is changing the file structure of the zip file after you have extracted it. You have to leave the actual firmware file inside its folder on the USB stick rather than simply extracting the file to the root of the USB. The TV will only recogise the file if its in its folder.
