TV (KDL-46NX703-12months old) cannot see some option SETTING, YOUTUBE

Hi

I bought  46inch TV KDL-46NX703 11months ago. I noted some times, when pressed HOME on the remote, I cannot see some options such as SETTINGS, YOUTUBE? . If I leave it for a while, then  tried it after some times I was able to see all the options. It is strange. I know software does not lie? Howcome this happens.

Anothe thing happen to my TV , 3 days back was, when i turn it on, it works for 1 mintes, then cut itself off, then straight away turn itself back on ( I can hear the trip noise), working for  30sec/1minutes then turn it off etc, keep repeating this. However this did not happen last night, it seems it correct itself?

I would appreciate if Sony could advise on this as I donot want to send this to what is known as authorised repairer. ( kindly note I am an electronics Engineer, know little bits)

Not sure I fully understand the question. Youtube and the other BRAVIA Internet video services can take a few seconds to appear sometimes.

If the TV keeps rebooting itself, I would get it checked out by your local repair agent though for sure as your warranty is presumably almost up if you've had it around 12 months. No point waiting a month and then finding out you have to pay for something that would have been free a month earlier...
