Sony Bravia KDL-32WD756, software version v8.219-1000-1.330-01.
I've suddenly lost Tv access to my Wi-Fi network; all other PC/tablets/phones in the house work fine, signal strength appears fine according to TV setup. However overnight I now see as the TV's Connection Results: Local Access: Failed, Internet Access: Failed
I have reset the router, switched everything on and off multiple times. I've powered down the TV for 20 minutes as suggested elsewhere on this site, I've downloaded the latest Bravia software via a PC & USB stick, I've even gone to factory defaults and started from fresh. Any suggestions?

I had this problem too after the latest update. I found an old thread that mentioned switching the TV off at the wall might help - I gave it a go (switched off at the mains for ~30 seconds) and that seems to have sorted it out. Hope this helps you too!
Well, after 24 hours the connection's back, back, back. I tried switching off/unplugging the TV for 10 minutes, that made no difference at all. I then switched the TV off for 6 hours, and now it's working fine.... that's an unusually long time to retain internal settings on residual power...

I am having this problem too. Tv is three weeks old, I’ve lost internet settings twice. I don’t think the workaround described here is sustainable long term. How long has this workaround lasted? Thanks.
Hi Win_88, thanks for the tip. I decided to try the suggestion that someone made on here earlier. This was to go for extended power off at the mains.
i switched off at the mains at 22:00 and by the next power on at 07:00 the settings were restored without any further intervention.
I don’t understand that. Looks like my settings are saved in the config and are refreshed by the power cycle. Not sure why the settings drop out, it’s as if we cache a fail and don’t flush it until power cycle.
I am sorted now...until the next time. Hopefully a future firmware update will include a full fix.
thanks for making contact.
